Graeme Sudholz: From Tractors to Tantra
Relationship counselling and sexuality coach
Graeme is unique in his field due to his down to earth background and his straight forward yet highly professional approach that has supported him in working successfully with hundreds of men, women and couples across Australia and overseas.
Graeme is uniquely heart open, direct with a practical and grounded approach that men can relate to and women feel safe with.
Regularly, men who are fed up with counselling that hasn’t worked, or can’t be bothered with this “touchy feel stuff” are met and validated by Graeme in a way that soon has them smiling and comfortable, excited about getting the most out of their relationship.
Graeme’s personal journey has given him many life skills, from dealing with early physical and sexual abuse, personally battling depression, to an extensive background in business and people management, trade and agriculture with international experience and perspectives.
All this and much more have combined in making him a thoroughly unique, grounded and no nonsense professional in his chosen field of relationships and sexuality. His business experience adds a unique perspective for many self employed clients struggling to achieve healthy work/personal balance.
Very few counsellors or relationships and sexuality professionals have his combination of real life background, experience and skill, along with working from inside his relationship with his life partner Annette in this field.
Many high profile business people as well as shearers, mechanics and school teachers (even accountants…) have been pleasantly surprised in his skill, empathy and understanding with them in their relationship desires.
All these experiences, and combined with Annette’s in presenting their work in a thoroughly authentic way that will work for you too.
Growing up on the family farm in rural Western Victoria, Graeme spent 30 years passionately working in farming, along with his wife and three children, until the relationship broke down and divorce ensued, which ignited his quest to understand what had happened.
After selling the farm and moving into town, he took over a small civil contracting business rapidly transforming it over 4 yrs into an interstate business with 25 employees at its peak, which consequently was adversely impacted by the G.F.C.
This eventually led Graeme into choosing voluntary administration to resolve internal management issue’s, but unfortunately he chose a hostile administrator which ended in liquidation and personal bankruptcy.
Prior to all this, Graeme met Annette during an Emotional Intelligence workshop in 2002, and slowly developed a very deep, intense, and committed relationship with her.
Through his work Graeme says that he has:
- learnt to to open his heart to himself, to Annette and his children, and to those around him.
- To embrace his sexuality and not be ashamed of it.
- As a result of his own personal journey become passionate about empowering others to heal the wounds of their childhood and stand up fully in who they are.
Graeme is passionate about men finding their own power, direction and meaning in life. Connecting with their own clear masculine sexuality and learning for themselves in how to create, manage and own this essential part of being a man.
Creating a different perspective in their approach to their sexuality, making it less about performance and more about expanding their pleasure through opening their heart and increasing their self understanding .
And he’s also interested in supporting women to see and heal the walls they have around their hearts so they too can fully open to love, pleasure and self empowerment.
Powerful goals for a man people around Byron Bay have witnessed in his passion for tractors and other earth moving equipment that keeps him grounded and focussed!
Along with Annette, Graeme regularly places himself ‘on the table’, continuing to explore the depths of his emotional and sexual self understanding, he believes it is vital to walk his talk. This results in him having a clarity and depth that is essential for a man working in sexuality.
He is qualified in Counselling, including several years with Lifeline, and is a qualified Breathwork practitioner.
